My Story
It all started when I was a wee child. Born to a Mother who was a hairdresser, an Aunt, and a Grandfather. I was often the 'head' of experiments as she learned new techniques. Not always to my liking - the curly perm in Junior High School. LOL Mom opened a salon and I loved spending time there. I soon started experimenting with my friends. Years later, in 1991, Waterfall Salon & Spa was born. Mom's second Salon! I went to Cosmetology school and started work for my Mom immediately upon graduation.

Forward 10 years and I become the proud owner. Mom has retired and I carry on the legacy of the Premier AVEDA Salon & Spa in Placerville.

My Education
I graduated top of my class in Cosmetology. (My instructor is still my client after 28 years!!) I attended the AVEDA Institute of Minneapolis where I trained to excel my skills fresh out of school. I've had a plethora of ongoing training - mostly AVEDA.
​
I am a color specialist. Highly skilled with haircuts - always working with your hair type and customizing a cut just for you. I am very proficient with Hot Heads Extensions. I am Certified in Copolla Keratin Smoothing Treatment.

​With over 15 years of experience as a certified massage therapist and esthetician, Collette is dedicated to promoting health and wellness through personalized care. Her experience includes working at the award-winning Rush Creek Lodge and Spa, Yosemite, where she had the pleasure of providing customized treatments for clients from all over the world.
Collette specializes in Swedish, deep tissue, and hot stone massage, and often incorporates light stretching to help improve mobility and release tension. Each session is tailored to meet your unique needs, whether you’re seeking relaxation, pain relief, or simply some well-deserved self-care.
​She truly loves helping people feel good, and seeing the smiles on my clients’ faces when they leave is what makes her work so rewarding. Creating a space where people can relax, heal, and walk away feeling their best is what she's most passionate about.

Danielle has been cutting and coloring hair since 2014 and grew up in the Placerville area. She specializes in vibrant, fantasy hair colors. For 4 years, she cut men’s hair before realizing her main passion is hair color. Come hang out with Danielle and get pampered with your hair needs.

Esthetician
Hillary completed an esthetic apprenticeship at the Paul Brown Salon in Honolulu in 1996. She also completed a massage program in Sacramento at the Healing Arts Massage School in 2003. She worked as an esthetician and massage therapist for 16 years, took some time off, and is now so happy to be back at work and ready to help you on your way to skin health and overall wellness.
